Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

ChatPilot, operated by Wyrelane (Pty) Ltd, has no long-term lock-in contract. You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time, directly from your own portal — no call needed, no cancellation fee.

How to cancel

Log into your client portal, go to the Account tab, and select Cancel my subscription. You'll be asked to confirm, since this stops your assistant from responding to customers — once confirmed, it takes effect immediately.

Cancelling stops your next billing charge. It doesn't refund amounts already paid for the current period — see our Refund Policy for how that works.

What happens when you cancel

Reactivating later

Changed your mind, or just paused for a season? Reach out to us via WhatsApp at the number listed on our homepage, or by email, and we'll get your assistant switched back on. Since your bot's content is kept, reactivating doesn't mean starting over.

Cancelling during the setup period

If you cancel before your WhatsApp number has actually been connected, the same process applies — your account is deactivated and no further monthly charges happen. If your plan has a once-off setup fee, that's covered separately by our Refund Policy.

We may need to cancel your account too

In rare cases — repeated non-payment after we've reached out, or use of ChatPilot in a way that breaches our Terms of Service — we may need to suspend or cancel an account ourselves. We'll always try to contact you directly first, rather than cancel without warning.

This policy is written to plainly and accurately describe how cancellation actually works in ChatPilot today. It isn't a substitute for formal legal advice, and you may want a legal professional to review it before relying on it for your specific business circumstances.
